When Smoke Damage Attacks Your Morristown Basement

The result of improperly storing combustible chemicals and paints in a garage can lead to this charring of the floor joists for the first floor. Our Morristown customer was worried that we would have to tear out a lot of structural lumber. Not the case. We can use our dry ice blaster to remove the thin carbonized layer on the raw beams and the block walls. The After Photo depicts the result--free of blackened soot and slightly burned floor joists. Our SERVPRO team can spray on an odor-suppressing paint primer to the bare wood if the slight odor becomes bothersome.
